KUMBINSIDO ang ilang senador na malinaw ang pananagutan ni PNP chief Oscar Albayalde sa pagtatangka na pagtakpan ang pananagutan ng kanyang mga dating tauhan hinggil sa drug raid sa Pampanga.

Ito ay kasunod ng pagharap ni dating Police Regional Office 3 Director, Retired General Rudy Lacadin sa pagdinig ng Senado at sinabing tinawagan siya ni Albayalde upang harangin ang imbestigasyon laban sa grupo nina Major Rodney Raymundo Louie Baloyo IV.

Ayon kay Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, malinaw na ang mga circumstantial evidence laban kay Albayalde.

“To me it is clear that there is every effort to cover up this episode and I think it can’t be denied…The testimony is not good for him (Albayalde),” saad ni Drilon.

Aminado naman si Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Richard Gordon na posibleng maharap si Albayalde sa kasong negligence hanggang graft.

“At the very least neglect of duty and at the very least graft,” sagot ni Gordon nang tanungin anong posibleng kasong kaharapin ni Albayalde.

“Yes, circumstantial evidence is a series of evidence that comes out into logical conclusion that something has happen and it is acceptable as evidence especially when you have this guy (Lacadin). Lumapit pa si aAbayalde kay (PDEA Director Aaron) Aquino tapos the seemingly attempt to cover up. Very very sad chain of events for Albayalde,” diin pa ni Gordon.

Maging si Senate President Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III na una nang nagsasabi na intact pa rin ang kredibilidad ni Albayalde ay nagdududa na rin sa posibleng pananagutan ng heneral.

“Medyo unless it’s properly explain… After today, I’ll probably have to make assessment
